Curious what people are seeing.
My read: dating expectations feel off. People brushing others off fast. Expecting instant spark. Chemistry matters, obviously. But good stuff often shows through consistency, not date one fireworks.
Me: Jewish guy, LA, early/mid 30s. Check all the boxes (wealth, intelligence, looks...). Mostly dating Jewish women, 25 to 35. Dating is off apps. Heard “you’re great, but no spark” a decent amount.
NOT SEEKING ADVICE. My route is probably more volume, keep filtering for fit & intentional people.
More curious how much this varies by city, age, apps, demographics, etc.

Please no lazy gender-war takes. No “men do this” / “women are that.” No hate, antisemitism, misogyny, etc. Looking for actual observations from normal, thoughtful people.
Example: “Male, NYC, dating women, early 30s. Feels like a competitive market. Lots of people very intentional and ready for something serious. Others still acting like options are unlimited.”
